How it all began
For as long as I can remember, I have always wanted to be a cosmetologist and own a salon. I thought, why not buy a little house and convert it to a special spot that would be fun, friendly, and allow me to put my inner passion on display for the entire world to see. Well……… that was then.
Fast forward to 2010, I took my shot! I purchased that little house I always wanted to buy, and yeah, I was throwing caution to the wind, but that risk would later turn into my dream coming true. The vision I had in my head, that would fuel my inner desire to show off my skill, my passion, my ability, was finally complete. On December 11, 2011, I finished converting that little house into my salon, I would call it Salon Ultima! Shortly thereafter, I opened my doors to the world. Now, I had my place. A place where everyone could feel comfortable, staff and customers. A fun, energetic, clean and professional place for women and men alike.
Today we are going strong! Salon Ultima is a reality, and a very good one at that. What once was a thought, a vision, a dream, now a reality. I am truly happy! I love what I do! I have had this business now for eleven years. I have 20 years total experience and I am excited about our future. Our salon is covered in the colors of black and pink. But don’t let the pink throw you off, as we also pack the diamond plate and craftsman tool boxes. The vision wasn’t to be just any salon, that would be too easy, it was to be the salon that had ” Chics with tools!”
